Extension of FHM Soup Kitchen Mission in Buhi, CamSur - January 6
Let me introduce to you Ms. Lethleth Datur. I did not know her until I received her message last Jan. 1 that said, “Good pm po. Naghahagad po kami tabang saindo kung igwa kamo mga used clothes na pwede po maidonate para duman sa buhi. Lubog po ang buhi ngunyan, ang mga kapamilya mi sa buhi wara naisalbang mga gamit. Salamat po saindong maray.” Immediately replied and chatted about the need and work it out out to answer her plea . (Thanks for the donation/old clothes and stuff.. Pearl Karthryn) She just asked for old clothes for her family and relatives in Buhi.. but we told her we’ll bring the soup kitchen to Buhi. Driven by the desire to help, she asked friends for help and God gave her more not only what her family needed, she ended up sharing with the entire neighborhood of her Lola in Barangay Marayag, Buhi. The FHM Mobile Kitchen could not get through the barangay because of its situation. It was deeply flooded..no roads, just ‘eskinitas’ to get through connected to the main street by a narrow bridge/foot walk.. distribution of the old clothes was undertaken by her and her mother, Gina after the soup kitchen and toiletries distribution in the main road. Everyone felt the love and care in the neighborhood. Ms. Lethleth with her Mama and Papa joined us in the mission and led the way..Ms. Lethleth, we praise God for the goodness of your heart. An ounce of care made all the difference..
FHM is happy to meet you..
