We come together to thank you, and our thanksgiving wins a victory over everything that makes life difficult for us. In this thanksgiving the harsh- ness, crookedness, and injustice on earth cannot harm us. Protect us with your light, which gives us wisdom for all situations and which lifts us above everything that is base and meaningless and must pass away. Amen.

Lilinawin ko po boluntaryo naming inisyatibo eto ni Mareng Pokwang, at kusang loob namin ginagawa ang tong proyekto para sa Bayan at naway mas marami pa kami Artistang mahikayat tumulong at sumama at sumuporta at naway ma achieve Namin ang paunang 10,000 tshirts sa unang rangkada!
Since majority of FHM-Feed Hungry Minds Library Inc. Members, workers, volunteers, life changers, sponsors and benefactors are women all over the country and the world, we share the same programs and advocacy with VP Leni, eradicating hunger, ignorance and poverty we are adopting the PINK color to represent the power and women. We have been an Advocate of Breast Cancer Awareness so we thought of painting the community Pink. Part of our Program is to encourage non working mothers to practice backyard gardening and give trainings for a more sustainable source of food and income. We call the project “FHM Green Mission” and we call our members “FHM Green warriors”.
Our small organization evolved, as we want our voices to be heard, representing voiceless sector.
In the past few days seems like nature is on our side, maybe destiny, PINK and GREEN colors have been visibly shines all over the world! Pink is Leni Green is Kiko representing the agriculture and mangingisda sectors. So we thought of Combining both, and tell the world we are “Proud Pink and Green warriors”.
On Oct 30, 2021 will mark our 100th days of FHM daily street feeding missions in Manila, Bikol, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Bohol, Mindoro and other parts of the country. Call it coincidence but we at FHM will start our joy ride on Oct31 onwards to distribute Free Pink and green warrior tshirts To the layalayan sectors around the country. Running a foundation, is never easy as some think it is, we were advised to remain apolitical. However long before I registered my foundation i have been actively fighting for the rights of every child to education, building small reading corners and small library to the remotest island and mountains of the country. Feeding thousands of children for more than a decade now. Delivered relief goods, food packs, housing and building materials to different communities and victims of typhoons, earthquake, volcano eruption and helping build temporary shelters to the evacues. As an entertainer i used my music, my stage and my microphone as a tool and a venue so the voices of thousands of hungry children be heard. I have never been an avid fan of any political figure back then and as we travel the country for our missions we saw the need, we saw the problem and since then I promised myself I can’t just be their voice, I promised my self and the LORD. I want to be a part of the solution.
We at Feed Hungry Minds Library Inc. And my band Arpie & the Multivitamins worked very hard to save our nightly tips for our regular feeding missions. We’re fortunate to have been invited by fellow NGO from different countries to speak, to perform, to raise awareness and raise funds for our missions. Working for the marginalized communities will always leave me frustrated and with a heavily burdened heart. A big question of when do we find a selfless leader who can address the need of these children buried in Poverty? Is it during my lifetime or may be not.
Glory to GOD we saw it from our VP Leni Gerona Robredo, tireless servant, focused leader, very honest woman, and she’s got all the qualities that a great leader must have. As I followed all her missions and accomplishments. I realized we have been sharing the same passion in serving the underprivileged. She has inspired us to do more with less funds and resources.
When pandemic and first day of lockdowns started last march2020, me and my team were at the turnover ceremony of our Tarpaulin’s city we built for Taal Evacues in Motorpool Talisay Batangas and all remaining funds went to help different communities for food and relief packs and our feeding programs and community pantries program. To date we are still in the streets of metro manila, reaching out trying to address hunger by feeding street children everyday. When VP Leni introduced the learning hub project we were the very first, who built 2 learning hubs for the children of our 120 women we call FHM Green Warriors as we introduced them to a sustainable solution through backyard gardening and planting for a sustainable source of food. The inspiration she instilled in our hearts will be carried up to the next generation, her dedication and love to the poor and the marginalized are just worthy of emulation. And we prayed so hard for her her to accept the nomination to run as Presidential candidate for the poor. And when she accepted the challenge we started to organize small project to raise funds for Tshirts for Leni to be shared to fellow marginalized groups, like tricycle drivers, farmers and fisherfolks. To date have printed more than 3,000 tshirts both in Bicol and Manila chapters, (photos below) courtesy of friends who shares the same admirations to VP and believing and praying that our beloved country will be better off under her care and we strongly believe dignity will be restored, economy will rise again, foreign investors will trust us again. Lord our God, we thank you for your gospel, the great, good tidings we may carry in our hearts to give us joy in this present time, even though on all sides people are in anguish and agony. We thank you that your gospel fills our hearts with compassion, enabling us to help carry what many have to suffer. Show us our need of you so that we can receive your help. If we must be the first to suffer all kinds of pain and distress, may we do so joyfully because we have been promised blessing in the midst of all the pain.
